College uniform
We feel that college uniform gives a sense of belonging and, by dressing correctly; pupils can demonstrate pride in their college. College uniform has to be worn by all pupils and we have always found that parents indicate a strong preference for it. However, we feel that a uniform should be simple, pupil friendly and no more expensive than other clothes. We would request that every item of college clothing is clearly labelled with the owner’s name. Items of college uniform can be bought from the college.
- Trousers – plain black or navy blue (standard style) If a belt is worn it has to be plain black or blue.
- Shirt – white polo shirt with college logo.£10.00
- Skirt – : plain navy blue or black,knee length (full length pleats,A line skirt or straight)
- Sweater – round neck sweatshirt with college logo £12.00
- Footwear – plain black shoes (no trainers), sensible height heels
- Tights – plain not patterned: Navy blue or black or standard colour
- Socks – plain not patterned: Navy blue, black or white
- Fleece – navy blue with college logo (optional) £16.00
There should be no coloured pattern or writing on the fabric of any items of college dress (including shoes). Pupils should not wear denim items. Make up and jewellery MUST NOT be worn at college. If hair ornaments are worn they should be navy blue, black or white.
Pupils should not wear T-shirts under their
polo shirts. If they are cold they must wear
a college sweatshirt. Pupils must wear
college sweatshirts at all times between
October half term and Easter.
Shoes must not have any stripes, lines,
coloured labels or reflective strips.

Physical Education Uniform
It is essential in the interest of personal hygiene and cleanliness that pupils should change for, and shower after, all physical education lessons. Below is given a list of the sportswear pupils must wear for the various physical education activities undertaken.
- Swimming - costumes (girls must have one-piece costume) and towel
- Indoor - Training shoes, white ankle socks, navy blue shorts, sky blue top. For girls a gym skirt may be worn. Towel
- Outdoor boys - Navy blue sweatshirt, navy shorts, sky blue polo shirt, socks, boots or training shoes
- Outdoor girls - Sky blue shirt, blue shorts, training shoes
- A college tracksuit is now available and may be worn as an alternative for PE lessons £25.00
