Holly McCormack and George Jones, two of our ex pupils, delivered an inspirational assembly last week to our year 11's.
During their presentation they talked about their experiences at Reddish Vale, things they enjoyed and things they would have done differently. They also gave some valuable advice on applying for colleges, what college life is like and what working hard can achieve.
They are currently in their second year at Salford University studying Politics.
Please see the letter attached outlining important information regarding the possibility of sending students home during emergency circumstances.

Virtual Open Evening
Our Open Evening Event has taken place slightly differently this year due to the current situation. We have alternatively offered a Virtual School Tour, Headteacher's Welcome Message and Headteacher's Presentation, to show our prospective students and parents school life at Reddish Vale High School.
We are currently looking to appoint a new Parent Governor. In our school we have two Parent Governors and there is currently one vacancy.
The Governing Body, along with the Headteacher, Mrs Hanson, has overall responsibility of the running of the school.
School Games Programme
We are very proud to have received the following award for our commitment and achievement in the School Games Programme during the 2019-20 academic year, and including the Virtual School Games Programme during lockdown.
Dear Parents/ Carers
As we settle into our new routines and systems for a safe return to school I would like once again to praise the pupils for their cooperation and patience. It is largely down to their mature attitudes and sensible behaviour that we are able to review the model and move to the second phase of our planned return to school plan by moving the school start time to 9:00am for Year 8 & 9 from Monday 28th September. Arrangements for Year 7, 10 & 11 pupils remain the same. All being well, we intend to replace the remote learning lesson currently in operation, for Year 8 & 9, during period 1 with your child’s timetabled lesson in school. They will continue to have staggered breaks and lunchtimes and their form time will remain at the end of the day finishing at 3:00pm in order for us to safely manage movement around school and limit crossover of bubbles.
