Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 16th October 2025. We’re looking forward to welcoming prospective pupils, parents and carers to our school.

When is the Open Evening?
Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 16th October 2025.
The evening will run from 4pm to 7pm and you can drop in at a time that suits you.
Who is it for?
Our Open Evening is for prospective pupils, parents and carers who are interested in applying for a Year 7 place at our school to start in September 2026.
What can I expect?
You will have the opportunity to have a tour around the school, meet our staff, prefects and pupils, see our school facilities, ask any questions you may have and attend a talk from our Headteacher, Mr Moroney.
The evening will provide you with an insight into the teaching and learning and extra-curricular opportunities that we offer here at Reddish Vale High School.
When is the Headteacher's talk?
The Headteacher will be giving 2 talks throughout the event to introduce you to life here at Reddish Vale High School. (timings TBC).
The talk will be the same each time, so you only need to attend once.
Do I need to register for the Open Evening?
There’s no need to register, you can drop in at a time that best suits you!
How do I get to the school?
Our address is: Reddish Vale Road, Reddish, Stockport, SK5 7HD
Parking capacity is limited, so we strongly advise that guests make use of public transport links or opt to travel by foot where possible to get here.
If you do travel by car, we ask that you be respectful of our neighbours and avoid parking on or in front of driveways or blocking access roads.
Accessible parking is available for those who need it.
When is the admissions deadline for the academic year 2026/27?
The deadline for applications is Friday 31st October 2025. The co-ordination and administration of pupil admissions is undertaken by the Local Authority, Stockport MBC.
When do I find out whether I’ve been offered a place?
Offer day is 2nd March 2026.
