Farm Friday Update!
After a busy week pupils finalised the move from the old changing rooms in the barn over to the main farm unit. Over the last couple of weeks this has involved the pupils building and painting boot racks, attaching extra hangars in the farm unit and organising the overalls into sizes with plenty of fresh spares stored below making things a lot easier. Morning club pupils and two intervention groups built the final boot rack this morning, which will be painted today and in use by Monday. Now pupils will a have clean, warm comfortable area to get changed in, all thanks to their own efforts.
The sunshine has meant the guinea pigs have had a chance to go outside and pupils took some great pictures of them and the alpacas enjoying the warmer weather.
Most of the planting of flowers and vegetables has been done in the polytunnel and we hope to give you an update soon of the progress, but we have quite a few beginning to sprout already!
