Much of the focus this week has been the duck and chicken quad.
This week we have been using a shelter constructed by the farm staff to house some ducks to administer medications and we are pleased to see they are on the mend. A special thank you to Mr Burnham who has been returning to school at 11pm each night to give them their scheduled treatment. Pupils have also taken a keen interest in their care and have been making regular visits to the quad in order to feed and water them and check on their progress.
Pupils have repurposed an old disused steel cabinet and given it a thorough clean. This will be used to store chicken and duck feed in the quad, making feeding times much easier and convenient.
Thank you to Morrisons who donated some flower signs which pupils decided to put up in the barn to brighten the rabbits and guinea pig areas.
