On Friday 24th September Y11 GCSE Citizenship pupils enjoyed a session with local MP Navendu Mishra to support in developing their Theme B and wider Citizenship knowledge.
Pupils heard from Navendu about his role as an MP, what he does in Parliament and in the constituency and then took part in Q&A. Pupils asked interesting and topical questions on a range of topics, from the death penalty to the voting system.
Navendu commented how well engaged the pupils were throughout the session.
