  • Year 11 Virtual Consultation Evening

    Due to the challenges we face with Coronavirus, we are unable to run a regular consultation evening in person and have set up an online consultation evening using a website called ‘school cloud’.  This is where all our appointments will take place.  Please find below some instructions on how to sign in, access and use the programme for consultation evening.

    The Year 11 Consultation Evening will take place on 18 November 2021 from 4pm to 7pm.

  • Black History Month

    We are delighted to have seen such wonderful pupil and staff engagement in our Black History Month activities this week and throughout the whole of Black History Month.

    A massive well done and thank you to all pupils and staff involved in hosting our cake sale, film showings, assemblies, featuring cultural dance performances and our themed lunch menu including dishes from Jamaica and West Africa.

  • Coronavirus Vaccinations for 12-15 Year Olds

    Coronavirus Vaccinations for 12-15 year olds

    Letters have been sent home with pupils regarding Coronavirus Vaccinations in school. Vaccinations will be offered to 12-15 Year olds in school on Wednesday 20th October and Thursday 21st October 2021, the vaccinations will be administered by the NHS School Nursing Team. Full information and consent forms have been given to pupils to take home and share with parents/carers. Consent forms must be returned to school by Wednesday  13th October at the latest, indicating whether parents/carers consent or do not consent to their child receiving the vaccination. Please note that no vaccination will be given if parents/carers do not consent even if the pupil requests the vaccination. Under these circumstances a health professional will make contact with parents/carers.

    Please be aware that the vaccination is only for pupils aged 12 plus on the date of the vaccination, therefore some Year 7 pupils will not be eligible for the vaccination this time. Pupils who are aged 16 plus can book a COVID Vaccination appointment via the NHS website for an appointment at a vaccination centre or pharmacy.
