We are currently looking to appoint a new Parent Governor. In our school we have two Parent Governors and there is currently one vacancy.
The Governing Body, along with the Headteacher, Mrs Hanson, has overall responsibility of the running of the school.
If you would like to elect yourself, or another parent, for the role, please visit the three links located at the bottom of this page.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Please find our Spring Newsletter below, which includes important dates for next term, pupil successes and news and events from this Half Term. We hope all our pupils have a lovely half-term, and we will look forward to welcoming them back on Monday 15th April.
On 28th February, some of our Year 10 pupils participate in a University style graduation ceremony in recognition of their completion of the Scholars Programme.
One of our pupils, Darcie, spoke articulately in front of a room full of scholars, professional and university students, giving an honest and heartfelt insight into her experience.
All of the pupils embodied our school vales throughout the day and his experience filled them with pride and aspiration. We are so incredibly proud of them.
On 6th February, students were invited to the Stockport Youth Summit at Stockport Town Hall, organised by Pursuing Individual Excellence (PIE).
On 5th February 2024, 24 Year 8 students were extremely lucky to have the opportunity to take part in a Young Drivers Day held on the school grounds. The pupils drove dual controlled Vauxhall Corsa vehicles with the support of government approved driving instructors. Overall, the students said it was 'the best day of year 8 so far' and 'wish they could do it all over again'. Well done to all of those that took part.
