I am extremely proud, as Headteacher, to welcome you to Reddish Vale High School (RVHS) and to introduce you to a school that has undergone a remarkable transformation.
In 2024, RVHS was placed in Special Measures. Since then, through strong leadership at all levels, a committed staff team and an unwavering focus on high expectations and ambition for every learner, the school has made rapid and sustained progress. Today, the school is consistently delivering the Expected Standard in Leadership & Governance, Inclusion, Curriculum & Teaching, and Personal Development (Ofsted, 2026). This significant achievement reflects the dedication, resilience and professionalism of our entire school community.
Whilst we are rightly proud of the pace and scale of our improvement, we remain firmly focused on the future. Our vision, ‘Positively Changing Lives through Personal Growth and Academic Excellence’, drives everything we do. We are ambitious for every learner and believe that excellence is achieved through continual reflection, development and improvement.
Our high-quality and dedicated staff provide a positive, disciplined and nurturing environment that inspires a passion for learning and enables every learner to thrive. We encourage our young people to achieve their very best personally, academically and socially, and this is reflected in the improving levels of attainment, progress and attendance seen across the school.
