How do I apply for a Year 7 place?
School applications should be made directly to Stockport Council.

When is the admissions deadline for the academic year 2026/27?
The deadline for applications is Friday 31st October 2025. The co-ordination and administration of pupil admissions is undertaken by the Local Authority, Stockport MBC.
When do I find out whether I’ve been offered a place?
Offer day is 2nd March 2026.
What does the school do to support pupils' wellbeing?
The wellbeing of our pupils is a priority and we know that this can be an anxious time for both new pupils and parents/carers. We have linked some useful websites below which you may find helpful as your child transitions from primary to secondary school.

What are Free School Meals and how do I apply?
We appreciate that for some families, household income may be an issue. At Reddish Vale, we want to ensure that all our parents and carers are aware of the availability of Free School Meals to those who are eligible.

Is there a school bus?
We have a school bus that journeys from Brinnington to school every day. The details and times of the school bus are as follows:
