Teaching Staff

Job Title: Teacher of Art / Art & Photography

Start Date: September 2023

Contract: Permanent (Two positions available)

If you are an ECT or experienced teacher looking to either further your career in teaching, or a recently qualified teacher looking to broaden your experience, then Reddish Vale High School has an exciting opportunity for a first-rate individual to teach Art, or Art with Photography.  

You will join a superbly resourced Art and Design department where you will teach Art up to and including GCSE. Ideally, you will teach Art & Design across the school and based on your skills and qualifications you may also teach Photography at GCSE. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to broaden your teaching experience and facilitate new skills. 

Job Title: Head of Department – Maths

Start Date: September 2023

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and talented Head of Department who is dedicated and keen to join our dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational Maths team.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing outstanding outcomes for all and will be able to demonstrate the necessary leadership skills to play a pivotal, strategic role in raising standards across the department.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with high expectations. They will possess excellent leadership qualities and the imagination, energy and skill to craft their curriculum and their department.  They will have the ability to motivate and inspire staff and pupils alike and possess the necessary drive and determination to bring about rapid and sustained improvements in teaching and learning.

Support Staff

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant                           

Contract: 30 hours, Term Time Only plus 5 days, Permanent

As a school, we believe in building strong and effective working relationships to bring out the best in our pupils. The successful candidates could be working on a one-to-one basis with individuals, with small groups of pupils or within a classroom supporting the work of the teacher. You will join a supportive and forward-thinking department with the qualities of initiative, patience and sensitivity.

Job Title: Cleaner                   

Contract: 16 hours, Term Time Only plus 10 days, Permanent

We have a vacancy for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, proud and passionate Cleaner at Reddish Vale High School.

This post is key in ensuring that our school is clean and safe for staff, pupils and visitors.
